Not all is sweetness and light in the LOTRO music world. On Gwaihir the viscious turf war between Instant Play, on one side, and Bert Bartleby and Old Rattlepacks on the other, continues unabated. While Old Rattlepacks looks like he is about to eat Miss Threva’s hat, it is Master Loplyn I am most worried about. He is standing at the dangerous end of Old Rattlepacks.
On Thursday 22nd September 2016 the Brago Brothers, Bragomur and Bragomus, were the guest band at the fortnightly Die Monbarden concert on the Belegaer server in LOTRO. The band are new on the music scene, having only played in front of an audience for the first time at the Night of the Muses on Laurelin the previous night. To mark the occasion I thought I would post some screen shots I took at the concert.
On Friday 9th September 2016, on the Laurelin server in LOTRO, Green Dragon Friday moved, for one week only, to the Floating Log Inn. This was because the Farmer’s Faire in Bywater meant that the Green Dragon Inn would be too crowded. I thought I would record this annual occurrence with some screenshots.
On Thursday 15th September 2016, on the Laurelin server in LOTRO, the weekly Bird and Baby Yard Party was Struck by Moonlight. That doesn’t mean it took place at night. but that Stuck by Moonlight, the band consisting of the hobbit lasses Miss Belaya, Miss Lamenca and Miss Veryty, played there. The band played the first three songs as a trio.
On Friday 2nd September the annual Bard’s Day concert took place in the Ivy Bush Inn, on the Laurelin server in LOTRO. It consisted of a selection of songs and poems inspired by, or taken from, the writing of J R R Tolkien, played or recited by the Brandy Badgers.
